About
Currently starting to execute my research plan which will involve a focused literature review on the barriers and opportunities to implementing Low Impact Development (a form of green infrastructure that uses bio-retention swales, rainwater harvesting, permeable pavements and other technologies to reduce rainwater runoff in urban settings), followed by key informant interviews and research on process based planning theory. All that will be integrated into a process for planning and carrying out Low Impact Development projects in the context of Guelph, a smaller city in the greater golden horseshoe region.
Also, I recently learned that I'll be starting a teaching assistant position this coming winter semester for Larry Harder in a BLA class, Landscape Architecture I (LARC 3050).
